Trip Overview
Marvel at the extraordinary olive trees which gave this local Berber name to these waterfalls and the carob trees that are everywhere. You will be able to see monkeys playing in their natural habitat, jumping easily from olive tree to olive tree. The road to the Cascades d’Ouzoud goes through many Berber villages while traveling from the plain to the mountains. As you go up to 900 meters above sea level, you see one of the most beautiful natural wonders of Morocco: three amazing waterfalls falling into a complicated system of ponds just 100 meters below. Here, the water is perfect for a swim. Lunch shall be enjoyed with the sounds of waterfalls amidst nice cafes and restaurants on terraces. And then there are the magots, those little monkeys who love to play, keeping you in stitches.
